Marktbericht No. 06-2019 China pumpkin seed kernels
2019-01-17 | The daily business for Chinese pumpkin seed kernels is still dominated by the very stiff competition. All traders trying to benefit from a lower price! The variety Shine Skin is still the bargainer. The price gap between high quality and mature green Grade AA kernels versus white Grade A kernels is becoming wider. Offers for the varieties Snow White and GWS are higher than Shine Skin.

Market update No. 74 Sultanas and raisins – global view
2018-12-10 | Over the last weeks, we have informed you in great detail about the market situation of Turkish sultanas and Thompson raisins. By summarizing all market-sensitive information we conclude on the following aspects. With estimated 225.000 mt the current harvest is extremely small. The amount on Thompsons with about 45.000 mt has doubled and has exceeded the average 20.000 mt from harvests in 2017 and 2016. For exports, Turkish supplies are short of about 50.000 mt sultanas. This lack of raw materials must be compensated by produce from other origins. Therefore, we would like to take a closer look at import quantities for Germany as an example.
