24 h ago, the Russian agricultural ministry declared an export ban for sunflower seeds + sunflower seeds kernels + sunflower oil + rapeseed oil with immediate effect until August 2022. With the export default on sunflower seeds and oil from Ukraine, we are now running into a significant shortage. We expect -42% production of sunflower seeds from Ukraine will see a sigificant shift of demand to Bulgaria and Romania very soon.
