Until mid-April 2025, the new crop 2025 has developed very promising. The winter was cold enough to destroy pests and gave the vines enough rest after two subsequent years with 2023 mildew-infected crops with an adverse ripple effect for the vines. Some experts expected a 350.000 MT bumper crop and were concerned that vines could not feed all fruits well.
