Next week we will travel to Bulgaria , on Monday, 4th of December 2023, and will stay for 3 days. We will meet our main shipper, Sadina, in Plovdiv.
Additionaly we will travel to Turkey the week after next, on Wednesday, 13th of December 2023, and will stay for 3 days. We will meet our main shipper, Özgür Tarim, in Manisa.
In both places we want to discuss further development in the 2023/24 season. We want to take care of you on-site if you have any topics for us.

The leading sunflower oil market has a prominent impact on raw material prices. Since last week, the sunflower oil has increased by 4 % from USD 910,00 to 950,50 p.MT.

2023-11-21 | Sultana-prices escalating in Iran
This morning, we received new prices from our Iranian partner and shipper. The quote is over EURO 3.000,00 p.MT DAP Central Europe. The main reason is the very short crop in the neighboring country Uzbekistan, from 70.000 MT in 2022 to 20.000 MT this year.

There is no contract farming for sunflowers in Bulgaria apart from organic farming. Each farmer can decide which seeds to use with the corresponding herbicide. Therefore, it is possible that the raw material is mixed and contains several herbicides/substances.
